Pharmaceutical company reports second quarter 2005 financial results

Noven Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (NOVN) announced financial results for the 3-month and 6-month periods ended June 30, 2005, and provided an update on its business and prospects. Robert C. Strauss, Noven's president, CEO and chairman said, "Total prescriptions for Vivelle-Dot grew 13% compared to the second quarter of last year, and aggregate total prescriptions for Novogyne's three products grew 6%."
