Money and convenience may drive some physician decisions to perform cesarean sections in Greece. "Cesarean section (CS) rates have been increasing dramatically in the past decades around the world," stated scientists from the University of London. "The objective of our study was to investigate the factors increasing the likelihood of undergoing CS in two public hospitals and one private hospital in Athens, Greece."
