Studies add new findings to assisted reproduction body of knowledge

New findings from Poland, the Spain; csimon@ivi and Belgium describe advances in assisted reproduction. Study 1: Reproductive medicine specialists in private practice conducted a prospective, randomized study "to evaluate the influence of different E-2 [estradiol] supplementation doses during the luteal phase on implantation and pregnancy rates in women undergoing intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) cycles. The study involved "166 women younger than 40 years who were undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) with long protocol controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH).
