Researchers provide basis for revision of classification systems

Researchers at the University of Nottingham, U.K. have provided a possible basis for the revision of classification systems for breast cancer. According to recent research published in the International Journal Of Cancer, "Recent studies on gene molecular profiling using cDNA microarray in a relatively small series of breast cancer have identified biologically distinct groups with apparent clinical and prognostic relevance.
