Safety of nipple-areola reconstruction after radiation therapy evaluated

The safety of nipple-areola reconstruction after radiation therapy was recently evaluated. "Radiation therapy (RT) is considered by some to be a contraindication to nipple-areola reconstruction (NAR) particularly in patients with breast implant reconstruction," according to researchers from the University of Rochester in New York.
