Reports from the People's Republic of China, United Kingdom and United States highlight recent research on gynecology. Study 1: Antisurvivin oligonucleotides limit the growth of ovarian cancer cells. "Survivin, an anti-apoptosis gene that is abnormally overexpressed in a variety of human tumors, may play an important role in the carcinogenesis and drug resistance of cancer.
