Researchers' findings advance obstetrics research

Investigators in the United States, Germany and Denmark have published new obstetrics data. Study 1: Growth restriction in twin pregnancies is linked to tobacco abuse and poor weight gain. "This study was undertaken to evaluate modifiable risk factors for adverse fetal growth in twin pregnancies based on a large cohort from a database of women with twin gestations identified at risk for preterm labor," scientists in the United States report.
