Studies describe new findings in obstetrics research

Investigators in Austria, the United States and Israel have published new obstetrics data. Study 1: Babies in the breech position have better outcome when delivered via cesarean section than attempted vaginal delivery, confirms a study from Austria. "The Term Breech Trial (TBT), a well-known study conducted by Hannah and published in the Lancet [Lancet, 2000;356(9239):1375-83], revealed a better outcome for neonates after primary cesarean section compared with attempted vaginal delivery.
