Reports from Colombia, the United States and the United Kingdom highlight recent research on cervical cancer. Study 1: According to a report from Colombia, "A persistent high-risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) infection causes cervical intraepithelial lesions and cervical carcinoma.
