AmpArray was used to profile the expression of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters in a drug-resistant breast cancer cell line.

According to recent research from the United States, "ABC membrane proteins comprise a superfamily of transporters with a wide variety of substrates. Humans have 49 members in this superfamily."
