New data illuminates research in breast cancer

Data on breast cancer are outlined in reports from Netherlands and Slovenia. Study 1: The cosmetic outcome of sentinel node (SN) biopsy was compared to axillary lymph node dissection (ALND) for use as breast conserving treatment (BCT). "Next to locoregional control, good cosmetic outcome is one of the main goals of BCT for breast cancer surgery.
