Shipment of disposable thrombin processing device to Biomet subsidiary CFT begun

ThermoGenesis Corp. (KOOL) announced that the company has begun shipping its CE marked TPD (thrombin processing devices) to the Biomet, Inc. (BMET) subsidiary, Cell Factor Technologies, Inc. (CFT). CFT will use the TPD to prepare autologous thrombin while a customized centrifugal thrombin device, named Clotalyst, is under development by ThermoGenesis. The TPD disposable kit, which produces stable, activated thrombin from the patient's own blood in less than 30 minutes, will enable CFT to address this demand in Europe, Canada, and Asia.
