Dioxin levels examined as breast cancer risk factor

Dioxin levels in breast adipose tissue was examined as a possible breast cancer risk factor. The objective of a study by scientists in the United States "was to evaluate the breast cancer risk associated with body burden levels of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs) and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs)."
