Scientists claimed that vitamin D sensitized breast cancer cells to H2 O2 . According to recent research from Israel, "Calcitriol, the hormonal form of vitamin D3, sensitizes breast cancer cells to reactive oxygen species (ROS)-dependent cytotoxicity induced by various anticancer modalities.
