P-glycoprotein inhibited by natural products in human breast cancer cells

Natural products in human breast cancer cells inhibited p-glycoprotein (P-gp). "Multidrug resistance (MDR) is one of the most significant obstacles in cancer chemotherapy. One of the mechanisms involved in the development of MDR is the over-expression of P-gp," investigators in South Korea reported.
