Findings describe new data in breast cancer research

Breast cancer research advances have been reported from the E-mail: Haiman@usc, Spain and United States. Study 1: Cancer risk was examined across common differences in the breast cancer gene, BRCA1. "Rare, highly penetrant germ line mutations in BRCA1 strongly predispose women to a familial form of breast and ovarian cancer," scientists in the United States report.
