Findings advance knowledge in breast cancer research

Reports from the E-mail: mlevine@mcmaster, Spain and Scotland highlight recent research on breast cancer. Study 1: The efficacy of chemotherapy treatments was compared in a recent investigation in Canada. "Certain anthracycline-containing adjuvant chemotherapy regimens are associated with improved relapse-free survival (RFS) and overall survival (OS) compared with the classic regimen of cyclophosphamide, methotrexate, and fluorouracil in women with early-stage breast cancer," according to scientists in Canada.
