Inflammatory local recurrence occurred after breast-conservation therapy

Scientists reported that inflammatory local recurrence occurred after breast-conservation therapy.

According to recent research from the United States, "Inflammatory local recurrence after breast-conserving therapy for noninflammatory breast cancer is uncommon and carries a poor prognosis. Over a 5-year period, 7 such cases were treated at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill-Comell Medical Center."
