Docetaxel and cisplatin combined to treat metastatic breast cancer patients

Docetaxel and cisplatin were combined to treat metastatic breast cancer (MBC) patients. According to recent research published in the journal Breast, "We evaluated the efficacy and safety of the combination of docetaxel and cisplatin in MBC patients previously treated with anthracycline-containing regimens. Between June 1999 and December 2002, 50 female MBC patients (median age 43 years; range 29-64) received docetaxel 75 mg/m2 and cisplatin 75 mg/m2 on day 1 of each 4-week cycle." "A total of 226 cycles (median four cycles per patient) were administered as first-line (23 patients) or second-Line (27 patients) treatment....
