Contract extended for ThinPrep Imaging System with the U.S. DoD

Cytyc Corp. (CYTC) announced that the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has extended its sole-source contract with Cytyc to now include the ThinPrep Imaging System. The DoD negotiates contracts on behalf of the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marines, and U. S. Air Force. This amendment will allow use of the ThinPrep Imaging System by laboratories throughout the military healthcare system.
