Optimism associated with better quality of life and fewer symptoms

Optimism was associated with a better quality of life (QOL) and fewer symptoms in breast cancer patients. According to a study from Norway, "Prospective longitudinal health-related QOL data from 161 women newly diagnosed with breast cancer were compared to age-adjusted mean QOL scores from a general female population (n=949)."
