Scientists have characterized the reactive antigen of monoclonal antibody 5C3 raised against invasive breast tumor tissue in a recent issue of the Journal of Immunological Methods. According to recent research from Ireland, "Monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) provide a powerful tool for the identification of novel tumor associated antigens.
