Meta-analysis does not support addition of nitroimidazole agents to radiotherapy for tumor control

Meta-analysis performed by researchers from Canada does not support addition of nitroimidazole agents to radiotherapy for tumor control.

"The purpose of" a recent paper published in the British Journal of Radiology "was to estimate the effect of nitroimidazoles on the local control and overall survival of women receiving radiotherapy for carcinoma of the cervix.
