Neoadjuvant vinorelbine/epirubicin compared well with adriamycin/cyclophosphamide

The efficacy of neoadjuvant vinorelbine/epirubicin (VE) chemotherapy compared well to adriamycin/cyclophosphamide (AC) in cases of operable breast cancer. "Vinorelbine is active and well tolerated against advanced breast cancer but there are no published efficacy studies in early breast cancer. We have therefore carried out a randomized phase III neoadjuvant trial in operable breast cancer," scientists reported in the journal Annals of Oncology.
