The Magna-Site tissue expander (Inamed, Arklow, Ireland) has a significant dosimetric effect on post-mastectomy radiotherapy in breast cancer patients. "It is increasingly common for radiotherapy departments to encounter high density objects in patients being planned for radiotherapy," physicians in England explained.
