High-resolution breast-specific scintimammography depicts small mammographically occult, lesions in women at increased risk for breast cancer.

A recent report published in the journal Radiology, "prospectively evaluated a high-resolution breast-specific gamma camera for depicting occult breast cancer in women at high risk for breast cancer but with normal mammographic and physical examination findings. Institutional Review Board approval and informed consent were obtained. The study was HIPAA compliant."
