Olive and sunflower oil blend decreases estimate of 10-year cardiovascular risk

Substituing an olive oil/sunflower oil blend for extra virgin olive oil decreases LDL, apo AII and the estimate of 10-year cardiovascular risk.

"Dietary supplementation with Virgin olive oil is considered cardioprotective, asserted investigators from Spain. "Decreasing LDL and apolipoprotein (apo) AII-lipoproteins is also appropriate for CHD protection and treatment."
