Upsher-Smith Laboratories, Inc. has introduced new Vandazole (metronidazole vaginal gel, 0.75%) for treatment of bacterial vaginosis in non-pregnant patients. Available in 70-gram tubes with five vaginal applicators, Vandazole Vaginal Gel is an alternative for treatment of bacterial vaginosis in the metronidazole vaginal gel market. Vandazole Vaginal Gel was developed, and will be manufactured for Upsher-Smith Laboratories, Inc. under an exclusive agreement, by Teva Pharmaceuticals USA.
