Chemotherapy-related bone loss is attenuated by tamoxifen treatment

Adjuvant chemotherapy-related bone loss is attenuated by one year of tamoxifen treatment. "Adjuvant therapies have prolonged survival of non-metastatic breast cancer (NMBC) patients, but they also decrease bone mineral density (BMD)," scientists writing in the journal Breast Cancer Research and Treatment reported.
