Progressive muscle relaxation training reduced chemotherapy side effects

Progressive muscle relaxation training (PMRT) reduced chemotherapy side effects in patients with breast cancer and improved their quality of life (QoL). According to recent research published in the journal Supportive Care in Cancer, "This study was designed to assess the effectiveness of PMRT and guided imagery (GI) in reducing the anticipatory nausea and vomiting (ANV) and postchemotherapy nausea and vomiting (PNV) of patients with breast cancer and to measure their effects on the patients' QoL.
