HPLC method detects quercetin, kaempferol and isorhamnetin in human breast cancer cells

High-performance liquid chromatography was developed to simultaneously detect quercetin, kaempferol and isorhamnetin accumulated in human breast cancer cells. "Quercetin, kaempferol and isorhammetin are the most important constituents in ginkgo flavonoids. A simple, rapid and sensitive high-performance liquid chromatography method was developed to simultaneously determine quercetin, kaempferol and isorhamnetin absorped by human breast cancer cells," scientists in People's Republic of China report. Y. Wang and colleagues and Zhejiang University performed experiments whereby "[c]ells were treated with ginkgo flavonols and then lysed with Triton-X 100....
