Sentinel node biopsy recommended before neoadjuvant chemotherapy

Investigators recommended using sentinel node biopsy (SNB) before neoadjuvant chemotherapy for clinically node-negative breast cancer patients.

According to recent research from the United States, "Because neoadjuvant chemotherapy is being used more frequently, the optimal timing of SNB remains controversial. We previously evaluated the predictive value of SNB before neoadjuvant chemotherapy in clinically node-negative breast cancer."
