Researchers' findings advance cervical cancer research

Investigators in the Canada T5J 5E2; gilbert_bigras@yahoo and United States have published new cervical cancer data. Study 1: The relationship between an abnormal Pap test and HPV was examined recently. "In a study involving 13,842 women and 113 gynecologists," researchers from Canada compared "liquid-based cytology and HPV testing for detecting cervical cancer. A total of 1334 women were found to be positive for one or both tests and were invited for colposcopy with biopsy."
