Racial disparities uncovered in treatment among women with breast cancer

Racial disparities were uncovered in a study exploring treatment and survival among women with breast cancer. "Black women with breast cancer are known to have poorer survival than white women," scientists writing in the Journal of Clinical Oncology reported. "Suboptimal treatment may compromise the survival benefits of adjuvant chemotherapy." D.
