Combining histopathology with SAXS and DEI reveals more explicit results on tumor growth

Combining histopathology with small-angle X-ray scattering and diffraction enhanced X-ray imaging reveals more definitive information on breast tumor growth. "Twenty-eight human breast tumor specimens were studied with small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), and 10 of those were imaged by the diffraction enhanced X-ray imaging (DEI) technique," scientists in Finland report.
