Combination of mammography, ultrasound, and clinical examination yields best accuracy

A combination of mammography, ultrasound and clinical examination was found to yield the best accuracy in clinical tumor staging. "Mammography (MG), breast (BU) and axillary ultrasound (AU), and clinical examination (CE) are commonly used for clinical staging," explained researchers in Germany.
