Data on breast cancer are outlined in reports from the United States.

Study 1: The choice of insertion technique doesn't affect the performance of the MammoSite brachytherapy catheter (Proxima Therapeutics).

"The use of the MammoSite brachytherapy balloon catheter is one option for the delivery of accelerated partial breast irradiation during breast cancer therapy," surgeons in Arizona explained.
