Similarity is seen between risk of breast cancer for passive and active smokers

A review of the literature revealed that a similarity is seen between risk of breast cancer for passive and active smokers.

The aim of a recent study published in the International Journal of Cancer was to "examine the risk of breast cancer associated with passive and active smoking and to explore risk heterogeneity among studies."

K.C. Johnson explained, "Nineteen of 20 located published studies of passive smoking and breast cancer risk among women met basic quality criteria.
