According to recent research from the United States published in the journal Molecular Cancer Therapeutics, the methylation inhibitor zebularine has antimitogenic and chemosensitizing effects in ovarian cancer. "Deoxycytosine methylation within CpG islands of tumor suppressor genes plays a prominent role in the development and progression of drug-resistant ovarian cancer." "Consequently," wrote C.
