GI metastasis occurs more in patients with lobular cancer than ductal cancer

Gastrointestinal metastasis occurs more in patients with invasive lobular cancer than those with ductal cancer. According to scientists from the United States, "Breast cancer metastatic to the gastrointestinal tract or peritoneum is rare. We reviewed the natural history of ductal and lobular carcinoma in women with breast cancer metastatic to the gastrointestinal tract, peritoneum, or both." E.C.
