Topoisomerase IIa amplifications may be a predictive marker for the effect of adjuvant epirubicin therapy for primary breast cancer.

According to scientists in Denmark, "The aim of this study was to evaluate the predictive value of HER2 and topoisomerase II alpha gene (TOP2A) for the efficacy of epirubicin in the adjuvant setting of breast cancer patients."
