Treatment with Re-188 and I-131 remarkably inhibits mammary tumor growth

According to recent research published in the journal Nuclear Medicine and Biology, treatment with rhenium-188-perrhenate ((ReO4-)-Re-118) and iodine-131 (I-131) of Na+/I- symporter (NIS)-expressing mammary cancer in a mouse model remarkably inhibits tumor growth.
