The technique of nipple aspirate fluid being analyzed as an alternative to invasive biopsy for breast cancer diagnosis is the focus of a recent report. "Over 40,000 women in the USA will die this year of breast cancer. Current generally accepted techniques to detect breast cancer are limited to breast examination and mammography," an investigator in the United States reports.
