Three phase II clinical trials to evaluate anticancer compound ZK-EPO

Schering AG, Germany (SHR) announced the start of three phase II studies in Europe evaluating its fully synthetic epothilone, ZK-EPO, for the treatment of several types of cancers such as non-small cell lung cancer, ovarian cancer and breast cancer. The clinical trials will assess ZK-EPO's safety and efficacy in each of these cancer types. ZK-EPO is a fully synthetic epothilone in clinical development.
