According to a study from India, human acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells make human pregnancy hormone human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG) and expose it on the membrane. "The binding of a humanized chimeric (cPiPP) recombinant antibody (human IgG(1), kappa linked to mouse variable regions) of high affinity (Ka 3 x 1010 M-1) and high specificity for hCG with MOLT-4 cells, an acute lymphoblastic leukemia cell line derived from a patient in relapse, has been studied."
