CT and MR imaging were moderately sensitive in detecting nodal metastases

Computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging were both moderately sensitive in detecting lymph node involvement in cervical carcinoma. According to a study from Italy, "Lymph nodes status in cervical carcinoma is important in therapeutic planning, and the role of CT and MR is controversial. This paper aims to evaluate their accuracy in diagnosing nodal metastases in patients with cervical carcinoma.
