Researchers report details of new studies and findings in the area of chemotherapy

Chemotherapy data are the focus of recent research from Netherlands, Italy and United Kingdom.

Study 1: First-line doxorubicin and docetaxel (AT) was deemed effective in patients with metastatic breast cancer (MBC).

In a recent report published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, researchers in the Netherlands described a study conducted "to compare the efficacy and safety of AT with fluorouracil, doxorubicin, and cyclophosphamide (FAC) as first-line chemotherapy for MBC."
