Agreement forged for global distribution of probiotic product for women

Chr. Hansen A/S, Urex Biotech, Inc., and BioGaia have entered agreements that will allow the global distribution of a probiotic product containing a strain of Lactobacillus reuteri targeting women. The basis for the product is the clinical research performed by Urex, the product development of Chr. Hansen and now the combined distribution capacity of both Chr Hansen and BioGaia. The product is the world's first clinically documented oral probiotic product concept for restoring and maintaining a healthy vaginal flora.
