Docetaxel proves more effective than paclitaxel in women with operable node-positive breast cancer. "Breast cancer is the most common cancer affecting women. A comparison of docetaxel and 5-fluorouracil in women with operable node-positive breast cancer, also taking doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide, was started in 1997," an investigator in New Zealand reports.
