Studies advance knowledge in breast cancer research

Breast cancer research advances have been reported from the United States, Belgium and Italy. Study 1: Axillary disease recurrence occurred infrequently after sentinel lymph node dissection (SLND) for breast carcinoma. According to recent research published in the journal Cancer, "Surgical recommendation for early-stage breast carcinoma includes removal of the primary breast tumor and evaluation of the axillary lymph nodes on the ipsilateral side.
